How do I become a lender?

Creating an account is easy. At the top of the page click on the account icon and follow the instructions to sign up. Once you sign up you can post items in your area.

How do I get people to borrow my items?

A:

Make sure your items have good quality pictures and good descriptions. The more detail the better. Ask those who borrow to rate their experience. Good ratings for your items and for you will boost your visibility.

What kinds of items and experiences can I post?

A:

Almost anything can be borrowed on this site. Some examples include: bicycles, cameras, machinery, kitchen-aide, backyard space, surfboards, notary services, pools, home gyms, media rooms, and more. This site is for you. Whatever you want to share, post it and allow others to borrow it. Items or experiences that are deemed unsafe, harmful, or illegal will be removed.

Why would I post my items on The BorrowVerse?

A:

The BorrowVerse provides a forum for you to turn your expenses into investments. Thinking about a backyard pool but want to subside the cost? Rent it out. Have a GoPro that is often not used? Rent it out. This site creates a way to make money with what you already have.

Is there an app for The BorrowVerse?

An iOS and Android app is coming soon. Check back for more information.

How many postings can I have as a lender?

A:

There is no limit to how many postings you can have.

What if an item is damaged?

A:

If an item is damaged beyond normal wear and tear of the item, the renter is expected to cover the repair cost. If the renter does not do so, submit a request to The BorrowVerse. All claims will be reviewed and lenders will be reimbursed up to $2,000 for the damaged item.
